The Stalybridge & Hyde constituency, on the eastern outskirts of Manchester, includes the towns of Hyde, Stalybridge and Mossley, the villages of Mottram, Hollingworth and Broadbottom, Hattersley and part of Dukinfield.
The area has a rich history of socialism and industry, as well as containing many areas of outstanding natural beauty. And each of the towns and villages has its own individual identity.
Politically, the Stalybridge and Hyde constituency is spilt up into eight wards, which are each represented on Tameside Council by a team of councillors. If you are not certain which ward you live in you can find out here.
Labour councillors and or Labour Party campaigners are active in all these ward - supporting residents, representing their views and informing them about the changes planned for their area.
